Many of you didn’t aware that what the mean of the word meta tag, well meta keywords tag is a brief and concise list of the content on your site page. These meta keywords tag is not supported by any search engines.
But it is important to choose correct keywords for your content page. If you want to use the meta keywords tag then it should be unique for every page you place it.
The keywords tag is a good place to put common synonyms, misspellings, and alternate versions of a word. The meta keywords tag takes the following form:
<meta name=”keywords” content=”keywords,keyword,keyword”>
According to Matt Cutts (who is head of Google Webspam team), clarifies Google does not use the keywords meta tag in web search. Google uses over two hundred signals in our web search rankings, but the keywords meta tag is not currently one of them, and he don’t believe it will be.
