How to use OpenDNS on UT-300RTU Modem (BSNL)

Recently, I borrowed a Dataone UT-300RTU Modem from my Cousin. The Main problem with the Modem UT-300RTU I was facing is that I am unable to use OpenDNS. I have tried filling OpenDNS in the Modem Router but unfortunately it doesn’t worked.

I tried many tricks from internet, but they doesn’t worked even many of them doesn’t explained clearly.

Follow the below steps if you want to use OpenDNS on UT-300RTU Modem:

1. Go to Start > Connect To > Show all Collections.

2. Right Click on ‘Local Area Connection‘ Icon and Select ‘Properties‘.

3. In Properties Dialog go to General tab > Select Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and Click on Properties.

4. In Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) Properties, Go to General tab and Fill the OpenDNS.

Here is OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

5. Once done, Click OK and Reboot your Modem.

That’s All. If you want to conform that your OpenDNS setting is working or not, Just go to OpenDNS Site and See there will be written You’re using OpenDNS.
