Windows 8 to Release in 2012?

According to Stephen of UX Evangelist, the codename for the next revision of Windows is indeed, “Windows 8,” and there is a 3-year gap between the current server release (minor) and the upcoming server release (major) which means it will release in 2012.

I think Microsoft will follow their old release cycle of 2.5 to 3 year, earlier they have released Windows Vista in January ’07, Windows 7 going to release in October ’09 and Windows 8 will be in 2012.
